New X-wing Starfighter Set 9493 is Released!

This set includes 4 minifigures, Luke Skywalker, Jek Porkins, R2-D2, and R5-D8. this set is made of 560 pieces. In the back of the ship, if you turn the dial, you can set the wings into attack position, another cool thing about this set is that the ship is 12" long. This set looks pretty good, a must have for all Star Wars collectors. 

Lego Minifigure Display Case

I've been working on a better way to display my minifigures than just the regular plate they give you in the packets. I built little cubbie holes in a building to fit minifigures, it works great! Also, a reason that it looks really cool is that you can customize the building to match the minifigures! I made a display case for my Ninjago minifigures and my Castle minifigures.

New Sets and Minifigure Series!

Last week I went to a store that sells Lego's and was pleasantly surprised when I saw lots of new sets, minifigures, booster packs, and many more things. I looked around for awhile looking through the new series 6 minfigures. I think that this new series of Lego minifigures are better than all the other years. In the store I was at the owner said that the minfigures had been in the store for a few weeks, but still, I saw that there was a crowd of people pawing through the new minigures. I bought the Minotaur.


Other things I saw were the new Star Wars sets, including the Millenuim Falcon, Elite Clone Trooper Droid Battle Pack, Droid Escape, Geonosian Cannon,  the new Planet Sets, and some other Star Wars sets.

I also saw some new Ninjago sets. I got the Kendo Cole 9551 set, I have said that I'm not a Ninjago fan, and it''s true, I'm not, but this set I could not resist, because of the nice weapons, and the new Ninajgo armor. The other Ninjago sets I saw were Venomari Shrine, Kendo Cole, Lloyd Garmadon, and some other sets.

I also saw some of the new Dinosaur sets, which looked okay.

New 2012 Ninjago Training Set 9558 is Released!

This new Ninjago set comes with multiple weapons, some snake-like pieces, a minfigure, and a spinner. This is a great addition to any Ninjago fan with all the weapons, and the new 2012 minifigure of Kai. this set is made to have that old crumbling temple effect, dripping with venom, and have boarded up walls, I think they pulled it off pretty effectively.

Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape Set 6857 Is Released!

 

Batman is back in Lego with this 380 piece set, including five minifigures, and a cool train-track. One thing I have noticed is that the rare purple Legos are coming back in Ninjago sets, Harry Potter sets, and Batman sets. This set has lots of action, as do most Batman style sets. I think this is a great set for Batman theme Lego collectors, which I am not, so for me I wouldn't buy this set, but it does look good!

Fangpyre Wrecking Ball Set 9457 Is Released!

Well, Lego.com always has many, many sets come out after Christmas encouraging shoppers to buy more. Now to the set, this set comes with 415 pieces, and has three minifigures. This set looks great, snake-like in fact, and is priced at $49.99, which is a bit high.

Kingdoms Joust Set 10223 Is Released!

This is a set I have been waiting for, and it's finally out! this set is 1,575 pieces, has at least nine minifigures, and is complete with tents for the champions, village houses, and brilliant work on the castle towers. This set uses many different techniques, like the Marakoeschtra's Wall, and uses the anti-dote for the BIG grey wall syndrome, and is great in all aspects, and I look forward to getting it and building, if your a Lego castle person this set is for you.

Destiny's Bounty Set 9946 Is Released!

This flying dragon-ship is made of 680 pieces, some of these can only be found in this set and are rare. This set also comes with six minifigures, and looks really cool, and if I were to get this set I would build a viking ship out of it. The set looks great but it priced at $79.99, which I think is a bit high.

What I Got For Christmas!

Well, I did get some clothes, but I'm sure you don't think that made my Christmas be the best, what really made this years Christmas be the best was that I got a Mindstorm! I spent all of Christmas day building and programming my bot. I tried to build the alligator, but then I realized that the Alpha Rex robot could do so much more. Alpha Rex is able to sense the distance with his ultra-sonic eyes, and can sense color, with his color sensor, and can walk.

Well hello, today I finally came around and made a video of how to build Lego angry birds, this is only instructions for the red bird, and I made these instructions from how to build a Lego ornament, but altered them, so these instructions are my own, and would like it if you shared them around, but not make videos unless you give me credit by mentioning my blog.

New Ninjago Fangpyre Truck Ambush Set 9445!

This set was just released this morning! It has 452 pieces, and has four minifigures. this set has interesting pieces, like the light green pieces, and those purple pieces. In my mind, if I was a Ninjago fan, I would defiantly get this set! This set comes with 2 snake monsters, and 2 equip Ninjago people. 

Recently Dis-continued Set 4432 Garbage Truck!

Lego.com has just recently discontinued set number 4432 Garbage Truck. This set looks like a great set complete with actually being able to "dump." This set looked great, but sadly Lego.com discontinued it. So all the people who bought this set in time are really lucky!

Angry Birds in Lego!

While away on Winter Break, I had lots of time to use for building new Lego things, and I discovered a way to make an angry bird, most of you are probably familiar with the app, angry birds. It's an app where pigs have stolen some birds eggs and they're angry. But what I did was I made an Lego ornament from instructions online ans slightly modified them to make them angry birds, of course they're not as good as Tsnag Yui Keung's birds, but they're, in my mind pretty good, for an eleven-year-old boy. Lego Set 3817 Flying Dutchman is Released!

Lego.com must be working on making more Sponge-bob sets, this set has some interesting pieces, like the green boat pieces, and the one-piece-bow. This set is 241 pieces, has three minifigures, and has some great detail, including the planks on the dock, and the great custom flag, I'm not really a fan of Sponge-bob but this set is pretty cool.

2012 Sets out Early!

Lego.com has decided to bring 2012 LEGO sets out early. These sets can only be purchased online, not at a store, until they come in in January. Eight LEGO city sets, with hillbillies, cops, and angry bears. If any of you have seen the movie Jurassic Park,  you'll be glad to hear (or not) that dinosaurs are back in two new sets. These sets will soon hit stores in 2012!
